LG UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE: Pricing and more specifications confirmed for new ultra-wide OLED gaming monitor
LG is moving towards launching one of its new ultra-wide gaming monitors that it presented late last year. For context, the company showcased the 45GS95QE alongside numerous other UltraGear OLED gaming monitors, of which it has only released the 27GS95QE so far. While the UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE is not orderable just yet, LG's website suggests that this will change soon.
At the time of writing, LG has listed the gaming monitor at $1,699.99, a price that matches last year's UltraGear OLED 45GR95QE (curr. $1,399 on Amazon). Initially, LG confirmed that the UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE would utilise anti-glare low reflection (AGLR) OLED technology across its 44.5-inch and 800R curved OLED panel. Additionally, the company revealed that the monitor outputted natively at 3,440 x 1,440 pixels in a 21:9 aspect ratio with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms GtG response times.
Moreover, the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to mitigate image tearing and delivers 98.5% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. On top of that, the UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE is said to deliver 275 nits typical brightness, although VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification ensures at least 400 nits peak brightness when viewing HDR content. Furthermore, LG includes 100 x 100 mm VESA wall mounts, a remote control, an adjustable stand (height/swivel/tilt) and the following ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x DisplayPort
- 1x HDMI
- 2x USB Type-A downstream
- 1x USB Type-B upstream
