LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE: US pricing announced for 4K/240 Hz and 1080p/480 Hz gaming monitor before ASUS releases competing ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP
LG has taken a step closer to releasing the UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE, a gaming monitor that only appears to have the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP as a direct competitor. To recap, both monitors utilise a new WOLED panel that supports twin display modes. In both cases, the monitors can output at 4K and 240 Hz or 1080p and 480 Hz without sacrificing 0.03 ms response times.
While neither ASUS nor LG have confirmed when these monitors will be available, the latter has at least outlined launch pricing. Specifically, LG has priced the UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE at $1,399.99 in the US, making it cheaper than the UltraGear OLED 39GS95QE and UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE but $100 more expensive than the UltraGear OLED 34GS95QE. As the photo below shows, LG has also included a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount and seven ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC)
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 2x USB Type-A
- 1x USB Type-B
Moreover, the UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE should deliver 275 nits SDR and 400 nits HDR peak brightnesses with VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification. On top of that, the monitor covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour space and actually measures 31.46-inches across instead of 32-inches. Please see LG's product page for more hardware details.
