ASUS has now revealed various details about the PG32UCDP, a new ROG Swift OLED gaming monitor that it teased at the end of 2023. To recap, the company hinted that the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP would support dual display modes, a feature that is headed to the LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE as well. For reference, the PG32UCDP joins a few other ROG Swift gaming monitors at CES 2024, including the PG27AQDP.
While the PG27AQDP has a 27-inch panel, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP spans 31.5-inches across, like the MSI MAG 321UPX QD-OLED and MPG 321URX QD-OLED, albeit with an LG Display WOLED panel Incidentally, the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP matches its MSI counterparts with a 4K native resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate. However, it can also switch to 1080p and 480 Hz as required, putting the PG32UCDP within distance of the ROG Swift Pro PG248QP and its 540 Hz E-TN panel.
Furthermore, ASUS states that the PG32UCDP is its first ROG monitor that supports Dolby Vision. Unfortunately, the company has not outlined pricing or availability yet, which is the case for its other new ROG Swift OLED gaming monitors, too. Strictly speaking, the PG32UCDP succeeds the PG32UCDM, a 4K and 240 Hz-only OLED monitor that ASUS presented in August 2023. With the company estimating that it will start selling the latter this quarter with an older second-generation QD-OLED panel, we suspect that the third-generation WOLED-based PG32UCDP will not be available for a few more months yet.
