CES 2024 | Baseus unveils new Spacemate 11-Port USB-C Dock for three displays
Baseus has revealed the Spacemate, an 11-Port USB-C Dock. The docking station allows you to connect up to four displays, thanks to two 4K@60Hz HDMI ports and two 4K60Hz DisplayPorts. Plus, support for the Multi-Stream Transport standard allows simultaneous output across three screens at this resolution.
The Spacemate connects to the host device via a 100W fast-charging USB-C port. There is one further USB-C and two USB-A ports, all with 10 Gbps data transfer rates, and a USB-A 2.0 port to connect peripherals like a keyboard or mouse. Also included is a 3.5mm audio jack for wired headphones or a microphone and an RJ45 port for Gigabit Ethernet speeds. Other features of the 11-in-1 docking station include LEDs at the front to indicate which ports are currently in use, and a One-Click Screen-Off button.
Baseus suggests that it has used premium materials to manufacture the accessory, with some magnetic features, though it needs to be clarified precisely what these are. The price and availability of the Baseus Spacemate 11-Port USB-C Dock have yet to be announced. Older models, like the Baseus Laptop Docking Station Dual Monitor 4K@120Hz, can be purchased at Amazon. Also unveiled at CES 2024 were the Baseus GaN5 Pro Desktop 240W Fast Charger, the Baseus Blade2 Ultra-thin Laptop Power Bank and a series of security cameras.
