Baseus asserts that its second-gen Blade-series power bank can fit into a bag alongside one's MacBook, Asus Zenbook or ThinkPad X1 Carbon with a matching form-factor of only ~10 millimeters (mm) in height and a mass of ~325 grams (g).
Nevertheless, it packs a lithium polymer (LiPo) battery with an "EV-grade" silicon carbon anode rated for 12,000mAh in rated capacity. It can charge a device at up to 65W using 1 of its dual USB-C ports, although that spec is divided into 45W and 20W when both are in use. The Blade2 also charges itself at up to 60W.
On that note, Baseus finally sacrifices USB type-A support in this iteration of the Blade to maintain its ultra-thin profile. On the other hand, it is listed in new Canyon Coral, Horizon Silver or Mariana Blue colorways on its new Amazon page.
Either option is priced at $99.99, with a 20% discount for a limited time from its release date of today (March 11, 2024) although prospective buyers might be advised that there might be a second, higher-end version with 140W/24,000mAh specs on the way.
