100 W Baseus Blade power bank can recharge your Ultrabook as fast as a regular AC power outlet
Amazon is currently shipping the Baseus Blade slim battery pack for $100 USD or $95 after applying the 5 percent off coupon code. The manufacturer has sent us a sample for our honest impressions.
The major selling point of the Baseus Blade is its ability to output up to 100 W of power via either of its two USB-C ports. In contrast, most other portable battery packs can output just 15 W, 45 W, or 65 W via USB-C. If you have a U-series laptop that charges via USB-C, then the Blade can recharge the system just as fast as a regular outlet would. Alternatively, the Blade can quick charge two smartphones simultaneously versus just one on most other battery banks.
The 20000 mAh capacity is also quite spacious and enough to charge most Ultrabooks about one-third to half of a full charge.
Lastly, the digital readout is extremely helpful as it displays not only the current charge capacity, but also the incoming or outgoing voltage and the time remaining to fully charge or discharge the power bank. The Blade itself supports 65 W USB-C charging which is much faster than most other power banks.
There's actually very little that we dislike about the Baseus Blade. It's a bit bigger than many other power banks in footprint, however, so we would love to see a smaller version of the Blade for users who might prefer something more pocket friendly. Additionally, the glossy display scratches easily so don't expect it to look brand new for very long. Its high price of $100 can be a turn off as well when most other smaller power banks can be found for half that price or less.
If you want a high quality power bank with fast charging, high capacity, and a useful digital display and don't mind the premium price or larger dimensions, then the Baseus Blade is highly recommended.
