The high-octane iQOO Neo series of Android smartphones is slated to get a new flagship very soon. However, the brand has decided to drop a teaser previewing a potentially crucial spec ahead of this event. It seems the Neo6 can add top-end charging to its arsenal of gaming properties.

Recent leaks have suggested that the next Android phone from the BBK Electronics range of brands with the conglomerate's new 80 watt (W) charging technology would be the Realme Q5 Pro. However, iQOO has just confirmed that it will be the Neo6 instead.

This premium-grade device is slated to launch very soon with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Now, the Vivo sub-brand has announced that it will pair the top-end SoC to a 4,700mAh battery with 80W Flash Charge.

This updated standard, also found in the new Vivo X Note flagship, leads iQOO to tout the Neo6 as capable of playing Honor of Kings for up to 126 minutes on just 5 minutes of charging. The phone should also thus be able to charge from 0 to 100% in about 30 minutes (given ideal conditions).

Therefore, iQOO may be hoping to draw some attention to itself, away from even Vivo's first-gen foldable phablet, on April 13, 2022 at the Neo6's launch.
