CES 2024 | MSI MAG 341CQP QD-OLED: New gaming monitor shown with 1440p resolution, 175 Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 ports

MSI has presented the MAG 341CQP at CES 2024, one of several QD-OLED gaming monitors that it has exhibited at this year's conference. Although the MAG 341CQP QD-OLED remains unreleased for the time being, MSI actually shared several details about the monitor in November 2023. To recap, the company previously revealed that the monitor would output at 3,440 x 1,440 pixels, which it refers to as a UWQHD resolution.

Thus, the MAG 341CQP QD-OLED has a 21:9 aspect ratio that MSI has complemented with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, the MAG 341CQP QD-OLED has an 1800R curvature for an immersive gaming experience. Moreover, the monitor is capable of operating at 175 Hz with 0.03 ms GtG response times, as well as 1,000 nits peak brightness with HDR enabled. Please note that MSI has only certified the MAG 341CQP QD-OLED to VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and not DisplayHDR 1000.

Also, MSI promises a pair of HDMI 2.1 and USB 2.0 Type-A ports, plus single DisplayPort 1.4, USB 2.0 Type-B, USB Type-C (DP Alt/15 W PD) and 3.5 mm audio connections. For reference, all video ports support 1440p and 175 Hz gaming, even the monitor's HDMI ports. Furthermore, MSI has included 100 x 100 mm VESA mounts for using third-party stands. Unfortunately, MSI has not confirmed when it intends to start selling the MAG 341CQP QD-OLED yet or for how much. Please see MSI's website for more hardware details.
