TobenONE reveals new 15-in-1 Docking Station for up to three displays with ergonomic stand
The TobenONE Laptop Stand & 15-in-1 Docking Station is crowdfunding on Kickstarter. At the time of writing, the project has over 100 backers, raising over $16,000 and far surpassing its $2,941 funding target. TobenONE already sells various laptop docking stations, like the DisplayLink Docking Station Triple Monitor with 120W Power Adapter, at retailers like Amazon.
The TobenONE has two HDMI ports and a DisplayPort, allowing you to connect up to three 4K monitors simultaneously. Fully extended displays are available for Windows laptops, while monitors connected to macOS devices must mirror each other. Plus, the dock supports an 8K@30Hz resolution display with a Windows model. The host device is connected via USB-C, and three USB 3.1 ports deliver a 10 Gbps transfer rate. Other ports include multiple USB 3.0, 2.5 Gbps RJ45 Ethernet, a 3.5mm audio jack and an SD/TF4.0 card slot. The device is powered via a 100W USB-C input; the product includes a 100W GaN power adapter and USB-C cable.
Two foldable elements on the top of the dock can raise your laptop at a greater angle for more comfortable viewing and further heat dissipation. The gadget is relatively compact, measuring 295 x 20 x 75 mm (11.6 x 0.78 x 2.9 in) and weighing 490 g (~17.3 oz). You can pledge $139 to receive the TobenONE Laptop Stand & 15-in-1 Docking Station, assuming the Kickstarter campaign is successful. The accessory is expected to retail for $159, meaning these first customers save around 12%. The Hong Kong-based company is shipping worldwide, with an estimated delivery time of April 2024.
