Asus has introduced an innovative new portable monitor at CES 2024. The ZenScreen Fold OLED MQ17QH takes the best parts of a foldable smartphone and a USB-C monitor to create a compact, colour-accurate on-the-go display. You can even connect it to your Nintendo Switch and other handheld gaming devices.
The Asus ZenScreen Fold OLED MQ17QH features a 17.3-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,920 pixels. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and comes with DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. I/O is limited to a mini HDMI port and two USB-C ports.
It has noticeable bezels and hinges, but its portability should more than makeup for it. Asus says you can mount the ZenScreen Fold OLED MQ17QH on a tripod. It is 9.7 mm thin and weighs 1.17 kg, meaning you can slip it next to your laptop in just about any backpack. Asus promises to reveal the portable monitor's price and sale date later.
