JSAUX has announced a Lite version of its innovative, foldable portable monitor. It is now the most affordable variant of its line-up, and is also the first version of the FlipGo in which its dual screens are 15.6 inches in diagonal length. Then again, there are some compromises relative to its higher-end Pro siblings.

The JSAUX FlipGo Lite has the same premium, innovative one-cable dual external monitor design as its siblings, but is touted as even more portable than its 16-inch Pro counterpart.

To that end, it is a 15.6-inch version of the non-touch Pro variant we reviewed, and can as such switch between the same split-screen (DuoViews) and screen mirroring (UltraView, albeit possibly not for all PCs as it lacks DisplayLink support) modes at the touch of one of its buttons, approximating a 21-inch monitor experience in the case of the latter.

Then again, it the first of its line to be 1920x1080 rather than 2560x1600 as in the 16-inch Pro, and to cover about 67% of the sRGB color gamut as opposed to 100%.

The Lite also has a 16:9 aspect ratio rather than 16:10 in the 16-inch FlipGos (and 3:2 in the 13.5-inch variants).

JSAUX has also left the 65W USB-C power brick out of the box for this new model, although the custom stand and magnetic FlexFolio case are still included.

Nevertheless, the FlipGo Lite still supports a 60W Reverse Power Supply for a connected laptop (or handheld console).

It has yet to join its Pro counterpart on Amazon, but is available via JSAUX for $299 (as opposed to $399 for the base-model 13.5-inch FlipGo) from now.
