JSAUX has announced that its upcoming FlipGo accessory will debut via crowdfunding as a new Portable Dual Screen monitor soon. It is slated to resemble the new Asus Zenbook Duo somewhat with touchscreen functionality, and will also boast a "magnetic" design and multiple mounting options. It will be available in two size SKUs with up to 41% off their MSRPs on their launch.

The increasingly popular handheld console and general mobile device accessory brand JSAUX has now also signaled that it is about to break into portable external monitors soon, although its inaugural FlipGo will be crowdfunded rather than go directly to retail as with the latest RGB Docking Station for things like the Legion Go.

Teasers for this upcoming campaign are now underway, revealing that the device will be available in either 13.5-inch "standard" or 16-inch "standard touch-screen" options thus far. Each is touted to deploy its dual displays via "3 different types of stand", 1 of which might involve a monitor arm with attachments such as those of the standard VESA variety.

1 or both "stacked" FlipGo screens - connected via a hinge as with Asus' most unusual new laptop - are designed to interface with a device such as a laptop or smartphone via a single cable. The entire product is also currently touted to be "lighter and thinner" and to incorporate magnets in an as-yet unspecified manner.

JSAUX has yet to divulge a starting date for its new Kickstarter project, although it has revealed that it will have just 50 units of the 13.5-inch version and 150 of the 16-inch SKU on offer.

Those FlipGo variants are linked to "super-early-bird" prices of $329 (or 41% off a projected retail price of $559) and $479 (or 32% off an MSRP of $699) in advance - however, it should be noted that JSAUX has yet to mention resolutions, panel materials or refresh rates for either one.

Their dual screens are frankly unlikely to be 120Hz 3K OLEDs, yet just might prove an alternative way to get a ZenScreen Fold OLED-like experience for less.
