Carved presents unique wooden protective cases with MagSafe for the Google Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
Carved is expanding its unusual "Live Edge" accessory series to include variants for the Google Pixel 8 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra, allowing respective owners to protect their devices with wood and resin.
As the cases are handcrafted from natural materials, Carved offers dozens of different designs with distinct variations in color, pattern and texture. The protective cover shown to visitors in the Carved webstore is exactly the one-of-a-kind item that is also for sale. The case protects both the back and the frame of the smartphone, and extends a little beyond the display to provide some protection against falls.
The buttons are not left out, but are also protected. A special feature is the integrated MagSafe magnets, which allow MagSafe accessories to be used with smartphones that are not actually compatible, although this can cause problems with the S Pen, at least on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Despite the wooden protective case, standard Qi chargers can be used to charge smartphones wirelessly.
Prices and availability
The Carved Live Edge protective cases for the Google Pixel 8 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra are now available directly on the manufacturer's website. The cases cost $189, regardless of the smartphone model. For users outside the USA, this price will be shown in the respective currency. The cases are also manufactured in the USA and the company ships "to most countries in the world."
