HMD Pulse Pro leaks with 50 MP selfie camera, 50 MP main camera and 90 Hz display for 179 euros
After today's leak with the first renders of the HMD Pulse, @OnLeaks also published on 91mobiles the first images and the most important specs of the HMD Pulse Pro. According to the leaker's information, the Pulse Pro will be launched in Europe for 179 euros, offering 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory.
Apart from the rectangular camera module, the design is reminiscent of the Nokia X30 5G, but curiously, the screen edges of the Pulse Pro are significantly wider than those of the presumably cheaper HMD Pulse. HMD Global generally saves on the display, as the device is said to be equipped with a 6.56-inch IPS panel with a resolution of just 1,480 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. At the same time, the manufacturer has installed a 50-megapixel selfie camera in a central punch-hole.
The camera module on the back features a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. The 196-gram housing is IP52-certified and therefore only protected against dust and water splashes, but not waterproof. As usual in this price range, the HMD Pulse Pro has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The smartphone is based on a Unisoc Tiger T606 - a 12 nm ARM chip from 2019, which has two ARM Cortex-A75 performance cores with up to 1.6 GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores with clock speeds of up to 1.6 GHz. A 5,000 mAh battery and a USB-C port round off the features. It is currently unknown when the HMD Pulse and HMD Pulse Pro will be released on the market.
