After HMD Global already launched the Nokia XR21 as the HMD XR21 the company has now also removed the Nokia branding from the T21 and put an HMD logo on the back instead. The new model comes with Android 13, and the manufacturer promises updates up to Android 15 and security patches until summer 2027.
Apart from that, the features remain unchanged. The mid-range tablet still has an IPS panel in 5:3 format with a diagonal of 10.36 inches and a 2,000 x 1,200 pixels resolution. The display is compatible with a stylus that works according to the WGP or AES 2.0 standard, but a corresponding pen is not included. In combination with stereo speakers, the tablet is said to be ideal for multimedia applications.

The battery has a capacity of 8,200 mAh and is charged via USB-C with up to 18 watts. According to HMD Global, the tablet achieves a battery life of "up to 3 days", whereby the device was used for a total of 15 hours before the battery was exhausted, according to the small print. The tablet has a 7.5 millimeter thin, 467-gram light aluminum housing, an 8-megapixel camera on the front and back, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The HMD T21 tablet is available in the online store of HMD Germany currently only with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB flash memory at a price of 299 euros. For comparison: The identical Nokia T21 is currently available on Amazon for around 180 euros.
