Vivo iQOO Pad2 to launch soon with 144 Hz display, optionally with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 or Dimensity 9300+
Vivo has published the first teaser images and webpages for the iQOO Pad2 and the iQOO Pad2 Pro. According to this, both tablets have a design that is strongly reminiscent of the Apple iPad Air (approx. 700 euros on Amazon), including narrow screen edges that are equally thin on all four sides, a flat frame with quad speakers, and magnets for holding and charging a stylus, and three metal pins on the back that are likely to be used to attach a keyboard case.
Although the camera module is round and significantly larger than on the iPad Air, it also only houses a single camera and an LED flash. The cheaper iQOO Pad2 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the iQOO Pad2 Pro, based on a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, is therefore significantly faster. However, even the cheaper iQOO Pad2 promises almost flagship performance.
The tablets have a 144 Hz display, with the IPS panel of the iQOO Pad2 having a diagonal of 12.1 inches and a resolution of 2,800 x 1,968 pixels, while the iQOO Pad2 Pro offers a larger 13.1-inch display with 3,096 x 2,064 pixels. The features of the iQOO Pad2 are rounded off by a 10,000 mAh battery with 44 W fast charging, an 8 MP main camera, a 5 MP selfie camera as well as up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB flash memory, while the iQOO Pad2 Pro boasts an 11,500 mAh battery with 66 W fast charging, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB flash memory, a 13 MP main camera, and an 8 MP front camera.
