Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Studio launches as affordable Android tablet for entertainment and productivity needs

The 2024 Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Studio has launched in China with a starting price of CNY 1,299 (around $180). It comes equipped with features to meet different entertainment needs. Among the highlights is the JBL customized speaker setup, which consists of four tweeters and four mid-bass crossover units.

This speaker setup also supports Dolby Atmos and has Hi-Res Audio certification. With 26-watt of audio power, Lenovo says that the new Xiaoxin Pad Studio can deliver richer and fuller sound. But the audio setup isn’t the only highlight of this Android tablet.

Besides, the tab has a large 11.5-inch LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 2000x1200 pixels resolution. With stylus support, the Android tab positions itself as a good choice for note-taking and drawing. There’s also support for the new Lenovo Xiaoxin Wireless Keyboard Air, which aims to keep the users productive while being on the go (Tab P11 Gen 2 curr. $269.99 on Amazon).

As for the processing power, the new Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Studio sports the MediaTek Helio G99, an eight-core processor from 2022. While this CPU is a little dated now, it has what it takes to smoothly handle light to moderate loads. Lenovo has paired it up with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.

When it comes to the design, the new Xiaoxin Pad Studio looks pretty much identical to the Lenovo Tab Plus that recently leaked, featuring a thick chin and a hinge on the back that works like a stand. As a matter of fact, it may just well launch with that name in the international markets.
