While Lenovo does have a portfolio of relatively thin tablets (P12 2023 curr. $279.99 on Amazon), the Yoga Tab offerings of the company tend to be bulky. It's mainly because the series focuses on delivering a good media experience, which makes stands, hinges, and robust speaker setups pretty much a must. Well, these design aspects are unlikely to change for the media-centric Lenovo tablets anytime soon. At least, that's what the new Lenovo Tab Plus leak suggests.
As the leaked renders show, the new Tab Plus will go full-on as a media consumption device, just like the Yoga Tab series. However, the renders do suggest that the tablet will update on the design.
Like the current Lenovo Yoga Tab models, the leaked renders reveal that the Tab Plus will allegedly have a thick chin. But the good news is that Lenovo appears to have made the chin look sleeker and more stylish. Another good aspect from the renders is that the bezels of the supposed Yoga Tab successor appear reasonably slim.
But that's not all that makes the alleged Lenovo Tab Plus stand as a complete media-centric tablet. Even though the leak didn't mention any specs, the renders did give away support for Dolby Atmos speakers with huge grills on the left and right sides (Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar with Dolby Atmos Plus curr. $799 on Amazon). The tablet will also supposedly come with a headphone jack.
Other highlights from the leak include two microphones, a SIM/SD slot, volume buttons, a camera on the rear, and a centered front camera on the top bezel. It also appears that the Lenovo Tab Plus will bundle with a stylus pen, keyboard, and cover. Check out the pictures attached below to take a closer look at the design. As for the expected price, the leak didn't give any info in this regard. But more detailed leaks could follow soon.
