Teclast P26T reviewed: This 10.1-inch tablet costs less than 100 Euros

Buyers of particularly affordable tablets often have to accept some compromises. This is no different with the Teclast P26T and concerns especially the cameras, battery, and communication equipment. But you also can get the tablet already for 100 US Dollars. The same price in Euros is also currently shown at Amazon (in Germany), where also often some special sales of the P26T are shown, where the tablet is even more affordable.

IPS panel, 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB storage

In the best case, you can get the Teclast P26T already for a two-digit purchase price. For that, the storage equipment is fairly solid: With 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage that can be further expanded via microSD card, the P26T is comparatively well-equipped for its price class.

The 10.1-inch tablet includes an IPS panel with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and resolution of 1280x800 pixels. While the P26T doesn't support HDR, it is able to play web streams from Netflix, for example, in HD Quality with its support of DRM Widevine L1. The test shows that the Teclast is best used indoors, since it doesn't offer a lot of brightness reserves for outdoor use.

With some limitations also suitable for gaming 

The Teclast P26T is run by the Allwinner A523 processor. The octa-core entry-level SoC is by no means a performance champion and quickly hits its limits with demanding apps. But if your demands on the 10.1-inch tablet aren't too high, everything will mostly run at satisfactory speeds.

You can even get some graphically more demanding games such as PUBG Mobile to run without it being very bad. In our test, the P26T is able to start the tactical shooter game at most in HD/High settings. Although PUBG Mobile will then stutter from time to time, it still reaches up to 30 frames per second.
