Teclast T65 Max: Versatile Android 14 tablet comes with large display, good features and important certification

Teclast is adding another model to its already extensive range of tablets with the T65 Max. It is still unclear whether the tablet will be affordable: Teclast states a price of around 322 euros on its website, but the model is not yet available. It is still unclear when this will be the case and whether the T65 Max will be available in Germany like other Teclast tablets.

As its name suggests, the T65 Max is a tablet with a larger display. It measures 13 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The Widevine L1 certification is advertised, meaning that the tablet can stream video from platforms such as Netflix or Amazon Prime in high resolution. The brightness is specified at 300 cd/m².

MediaTek Helio G99 SoC installed should provide adequate performance for various application scenarios. The processor is supported by a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, and the native RAM measures eight gigabytes. The RAM can be expanded by up to 12 gigabytes with a swap file, and the UFS memory is 256 gigabytes in size. A current operating system, Android 14, is pre-installed on the device.

There is an 8- and 13-megapixel camera at the front and rear respectively, as well as four speakers and a classic 3.5-mm jack. The 10,000 mAh battery can be charged via USB Type-C with up to 18 watts. The aluminum case of the device is said to be only 7.8 millimeters thin. A GNSS module with GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and A-GPS support is available, but there is no cellular modem. A proximity sensor and compass are also installed.
