Teclat has announced the T60, another budget tablet by the company. The Teclast T60 will be available soon from Amazon for under US$300 with a 12-inch IPS display running at 2,000 x 1,200 pixels, among other features.

Teclast has introduced the T60, a new tablet that runs Android 13. According to the company's product page, the Teclast T60 has a 12-inch display, which sits within a 279 x 174 x 7.7 mm and 570 g housing. Thus, the tablet also has a 92% screen-to-body ratio. Still, the tablet has a 5 MP front-facing nestled within one of its horizontal bezels.

Additionally, the Teclast T60 has a 13 MP rear-facing camera and an undisclosed auxiliary lens. Based on Teclast's promotional materials, the latter is more there for show than anything else. At any rate, the large display relies on IPS technology and has a 2,000 x 1,200-pixel native resolution. Unfortunately, an apparent lack of Widevine L1 certification means that the tablet can only stream DRM-protected content from the likes of Amazon and Netflix in 720p.

Meanwhile, an 8,000 mAh battery powers the large display, as does 8 GB of RAM and a Unisoc Tiger T616 chipset. Also, the tablet comes with 256 GB of expandable storage and a dual SIM card slot. Currently, Teclast lists the T60 on its website for US$269.99 in a single grey colourway. However, the tablet is unavailable at the time of writing when clicking through to the company's Amazon link. Please see Teclast's website for more details.
