According to a detailed leak, Oukitel is preparing to release a cheaper alternative to its RT2 tablet. Dubbed the Oukitel OT5, the tablet will run Android 13 with a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, an 11,000 mAh battery and support for a few proprietary accessories.

GSMArena has provided details about the Oukitel OT5, large tablet that it plans to release in the middle of November. Based on the website's findings, the Oukitel OT5 will serve as a cheaper alternative to the Oukitel RT2, which sells for US$319.99 in the US. Still, the former should have a 7.5 mm thick housing, making it thinner than most competitors.

Additionally, the Oukitel OT5 has a 12-inch LCD that resolves at 2K. While the display's refresh rate remains unknown for now, Oukitel will complement the panel with an 11,000 mAh battery that supports 18 W wired charging. Moreover, the Oukitel OT5 relies upon the MediaTek Helio G99, a 6 nm chipset that we have already reviewed in other tablets like the Teclast T50 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Pad.

According to GSMArena, the tablet will also feature up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, with the latter likely expandable via a MicroSD card. Separately, the Oukitel OT5 is said to house a 5 MP front-facing camera, as well as a 16 MP primary and 2 MP macro rear-facing cameras. Currently, GSMArena expects Oukitel to sell the OT5 in blue, dark grey and silver colourways, all with compatible stylus and keyboard case accessories.
