Apple has just sent out invitations for its next hardware event. Scheduled for October 30, the 'Scary fast' is not only a nod to Halloween, but also to the performance of its next Mac products, which it has built around Apple M3 silicon.

Apple has confirmed the date of its next major launch event, just over a month after showcasing the iPhone 15 series. As the screenshots below show, the event will commence at 17:00 PT on October 30, which tips over into October 31 for most countries west of the US. As usual, Apple will stream its presentation live on its website or its YouTube channel.

Similarly, the company has not provided any details about which products it will to introduce. However, its event animation cycles between the Apple and Finder logos. Thus, as various rumours suggested, Apple will focus its attention on new Mac products, under five months after presenting the MacBook Air 15, plus updated Mac Pro and Mac Studio machines.

Based on previous rumours, Apple will announce the Apple M3, which will power a revised MacBook Pro 13 and a successor to the current 24-inch iMac. Additionally, Apple could also release new MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16 models with M3 Pro and M3 Max chipsets. In short, Apple's M3 series is expected to bring performance improvements in various areas, whether that be through 3 nm nodes or more CPU and GPU cores for the M3 Max.
