Zepp Health has teased two new Amazfit smartwatch models, due to be unveiled on October 25th. An image posted on social media shows the outline of one square and one round model, with many fans speculating which models these could be. Text on the picture states “Get Ready” and “Get Active”, giving a clue as to the names of the wearables.
At the same time, two new Amazfit smartwatches have appeared on Tiendamia, a Brazilian marketplace, which match the teased image: the Amazfit Active and the Amazfit Active Edge. Both models feature the AI fitness Zepp Coach alongside Training Templates, which allow you to create a personalized workout schedule and GPS tracking, supporting five satellite positioning systems. The Amazfit Active is a rectangular smartwatch with a 1.75-in (~44 mm) AMOLED display and up to 14 days of battery life. Features include Bluetooth calling, music playback, and Amazon Alexa voice commands. The product listing also mentions the Readiness score, a tool that suggests how mentally and physically prepared you are for your day; this feature is already available on the Balance wearable.
The Active Edge is a round smartwatch that lasts up to 16 days on a single charge. The sports wearable is waterproof to 10 ATM, withstanding around 100m (~328 ft) water pressure. Another feature mentioned for this watch is strength exercise recognition, automatically detecting 25 exercise types. The Edge wearable is shown in Midnight Black, while the Active Edge comes in Midnight Pulse (Gray/Black) and Mint Green (Mint/Black). The Amazfit Active Edge retails for R$1,536 (~US$306). The pricing of the Amazfit Active Edge smartwatch remains unclear and is likely to be announced later this week.
