The Amazfit Active and Amazfit Active Edge smartwatches have officially launched, following a leak in Brazil earlier this month. The Amazfit Active smartwatch has been designed as a follow-up to the GTS series, with a rectangular 1.75-in AMOLED display. Features include the Readiness score, Amazon Alexa voice assistant and Bluetooth calling, with up to 14 days of battery life. The gadget has a stainless steel frame and faux leather strap available in Midnight Black, Petal Pink and Lavender Purple, with the latter launching in mid-November.
The Amazfit Active Edge is a round wearable with a more rugged design, water resistant to 10 ATM and with a 16 day battery life with typical use. The gadget has a 1.32-in LCD with 360 x 360 px resolution and is available in three dual-tone colorways: Lava Black, Midnight Pulse (gray) and Mint Green. You can use either smartwatch to track your heart rate and SpO2 level and log exercise with over 120 sports modes. Both models also have GPS tracking with support for five satellite systems, the Zepp Coach AI workout assistant and popular fitness apps like adidas Running, Strava and komoot. One notable absence in these smartwatches is NFC for contactless payments.
