Apple unveils brand new Hermès strap for Apple Watch and fresh iPhone cases
Apple today announced a brand new MacBook Air with Apple M3, Wi-Fi 6E, and support for two external monitors, and also unveiled new accessories for iPhone and Apple Watch.
The highlight is the so-called Hermès Tricot Single Tour, a brand-new wristband that is now available in blue, orange, yellow, and brown for 349 euros. The textile knit is designed to ensure a high level of wearing comfort while at the same time imitating the look of Hermès gloves from the 1930s.
The Hermès Kilim Single Tour, which also costs 349 euros, is now also available in blue and white, while the Toile H Single Tour comes in red and blue and the Twill Jump Single Tour in yellow and blue.
Apple is also adding fresh colors to four of its straps, including the Solo Loop in pink, light green and dark blue, the braided Solo Loop in light blue, warm yellow and pink, the Sport strap in light blue, warm yellow and light green, and the Sport Loop in light green and dark blue.
Apple has also introduced the official iPhone silicone case in the light blue, warm yellow, and pale mint colors for the iPhone 15 (approx. 920 euros on Amazon), the iPhone 15 Plus, the iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Interestingly, Apple refrains from introducing new colors for the extremely unpopular FineWoven protective case (69 euro) - another indication that the company is aware of the criticism and has no interest in further developing the cases. It will be clear by the launch of the iPhone 16 at the latest whether the company will switch to a different material.
