Leak gives first look at alleged Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro

Earlier this month, a Weibo tipster report suggested Xiaomi would debut a new tablet alongside the launch of the SU7 EV. Some of the previous leaks hinted that it would be the Pad 7 Pro, but the Weibo leaker claimed it would be named the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro instead. The tipster might just be correct, as another Weibo leakster has shared an alleged photo of the tab that's reportedly captured from an official Xiaomi website.

We couldn't find the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro on any of Xiaomi's websites. So, there's a chance that the tablet accidentally appeared for a momentary period and got taken down. Nonetheless, getting back to the picture, one spec that's printed on it matches with a previous report.

As a renowned leakster named Digital Chat Station reported last month, the Pad 6S Pro will come with a 12.45-inch display, which aligns with the recently leaked official picture. But the most interesting bit of this alleged official image is the camera module on the back.

It's similar to the camera island of Xiaomi 14 smartphones. But the camera sensors may not be the same as the latest Android flagships of the brand. Instead, the tablet will likely carry over the Pad 6 Pro cameras (Pad 6 available on Amazon). That tab launched with a 50 MP 1/2.76-inch primary camera and a 2 MP depth sensor on the back.

Previous reports hinted that the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 under the hood. Regarding the screen, it will reportedly be an LCD panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 144 Hz refresh rate. A leak from last month has also shared charging details taken from national quality certification. It claimed that the tablet would have 120W charging support. The expected launch is sometime later this month.
