The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro (including the Pixel 9 Pro XL) are not expected until October, but there are already lots of images of the next Google flagship in circulation, including of test devices that appear to have found their way to Russia of all places. This leak also reveals initial details about the cameras; specifically, the Pixel 9 will offer ultra-wide-angle and wide-angle cameras, while the Pixel 9 Pro will also feature a telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
Indian leaker Yogesh Brar also recently commented on the successors to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. According to Brar, Google will change the design of the camera module but leave the cameras themselves very much unchanged. Like the Pixel 8a, no major changes to the camera hardware are to be expected, but this does not mean that there will be no new camera features. These are likely to be further expanded, especially in view of Google's AI offensive. The redesign, the Tensor G4 chip and the expanded portfolio of three to four devices will thus be the main selling points of the Pixel 9 generation.
Like Pixel 8a, the Pixel 9 series will mostly be getting the same camera setup as that of the Pixel 8 series, no major change.

What's new is the Tensor G4, design & a more price defined 3 device lineup
Pixel 10 to be the first "Exynos-free" Pixel phone
It's an open secret: all Tensor chips, including the upcoming Tensor G4 (in all likelihood), are more or less based on Samsung's Exynos processors, with a few modifications by Google itself. However, this is likely to change with the Tensor G5 in the Pixel 10, as two more leakers have now confirmed (following initial rumors from last year). Accordingly, the 2025 Pixel Phone will not feature a chipset produced by Samsung for the first time since the Pixel 6. Instead, the SoC produced entirely by Google will roll off the production line at Taiwanese competitor TSMC via the 3nm process.
