The Moto G24 is one of two Moto G smartphones that Motorola has released today, with the other being the Moto G04. Unsurprisingly, the Moto G24 is the more premium alternative of the two, although it is still a distinctly budget affair. For context, the Moto G24 sits between the Moto G14 and Moto G34 in the Moto G series, which Motorola released in August and December, respectively.
In its press release, Motorola confirms that the Moto G24 has a 6.6-inch and 720p display that delivers 537 nits peak brightness and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the company mentions a 'high-performance 2.0GHz octa-core processor', which is expected to be the MediaTek Helio G85 that is already available in the Moto G13 and Moto G23. At any rate, the Moto G24 will be available with 4 GB and 8 GB of RAM, as well as a 5,000 mAh battery and the following camera hardware:
- 50 MP primary, f/1.8, 0.64 µm, PDAF
- 2 MP macro, f/2.4
- 8 MP front-facing, f/2.0, 1.12 µm
Motorola will begin selling the Moto G24 from today in Europe for €129. Like the Moto G04, the company adds that the Moto G24 will reach Latin America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific in 'the coming weeks'.
