Motorola has now presented the Moto G34, a mid-range smartphone that leaked last week. As expected, the Moto G34 relies up on the Snapdragon 695, a 6 nm chipset that it combines with a 5,000 mAh battery it can recharge at 18 W. For reference, the Snapdragon 695 features two ARM Cortex-A78 and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores, as well as an Adreno 619 GPU and a 5G modem.
Additionally, Motorola has included 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage on which it pre-installs Android 14. Moreover, the handset has a 6.5-inch display that contributes to its 162.7 x 74.6 x 8 mm and 179 g footprint. Unfortunately, while the LCD outputs at 120 Hz, it only operates at a 720p resolution.
Incidentally, Motorola has only confirmed that the Moto G34 has 50 MP primary and 16 MP front-facing cameras, with mention of its second rear-facing camera missing on Motorola's product page. For now, Motorola has limited availability to China where prices start at CNY 999 (~$140). However, there is nothing to suggest that the Moto G34 will remain a Chinese exclusive, with the Moto G54 and Moto G84 having received global releases earlier this year.
