LG has just announced new pricing and availability details for its latest range of smart monitors. The MyView range for the United States includes an entry-level 27-inch variant as well as the series' 32-inch 4K flagship. All three are touted to fit anywhere into the smart home or office with the "acclaimed" webOS UI.

LG touts its new IPS MyView range of monitors as exceptionally flexible, versatile displays, a premise that has landed its current 32SR85U flagship an Innovation Award at CES 2024. Then again, it is the only variant with the series' most adjustable stand thanks to the circular insert it slots into on the back of the device.

Its 32SR53FS and 27SR50F siblings get a fixed, shorter, yet still apparently "sleek, flat" stand "for a compact and stylish appearance". Nevertheless, all 3 are backed to handle use-cases such as streaming, following video work-outs and some productivity tasks in a PC-free manner as they run webOS 23 independently.

The 32SR85U and 32SR53FS are both 31.5-inch displays and are both referred to as 4K - despite the fact that only the former boasts a 3840 x 2160 resolution while the latter is in fact 1920 x 1080. They support up to 90W and 65W of charging via USB-C, whereas the 27SR50F makes do with 45W.

On that note, the 27-inch MyView variant might be the least suited to content creators (or even enthusiasts) with 72% of the NTSC color gamut compared to 99% sRGB coverage in the 32SR53FS and 95% of the DCI-P3 space for the 32SR85U.

The 27SR50F is also rated for 350cd/m2 of brightness compared to 400cd/m2 in the 32SR85U and 32SR53FS, although all 3 monitors are confined to a 60Hz refresh rate. Accordingly, the former has been released at $199.99, whereas the 32SR53FS is $229.99 and the flagship 32SR85U is now $599.99.

All 3 new MyView Smart Monitors have been unleashed via LG.com, although only the 32SR85U and 27SR50F can be found on Amazon thus far.
