The UltraGear 27GR95UM is LG's latest gaming monitor and one that it bases around a 27-inch Nano IPS panel. Aided by 1,560 Mini LED backlight zones, the LG UltraGear 27GR95UM can deliver 1,000 nits peak brightness, as well as a 144 Hz and 4K gaming experience with 1 ms GtG response times and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support.

LG has unveiled a new UltraGear gaming monitor, just over a month after it presented the UltraGear 45GR65DC and UltraGear 45GR75DC. This time, the company has turned its attention to a smaller model, with the UltraGear 45GR65DC and UltraGear 45GR75DC both featuring 44.5-inch panels. Specifically, the UltraGear 27GR95UM spans 27-inches, as its name implies.

According to LG, the new monitor utilises a Nano IPS panel supported by 1,560 Mini LED backlight zones. As such, the UltraGear 27GR95UM delivers an impressive peak brightness value of 1,000 nits when viewing HDR content. While peak brightness drops to 450 nits when viewing SDR content, the UltraGear 27GR95UM has still received VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification.

Additionally, the UltraGear 27GR95UM outputs natively at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 99% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and 1 ms GtG response times. Moreover, LG has included AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support to mitigate image tearing, as well as a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection and a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports. Currently, the UltraGear 27GR95UM is exclusive to China, where it sells for CNY 9,999 (~$1,393). However, with LG typically offering its UltraGear monitors globally, there is nothing to suggest that this will not apply to the UltraGear 27GR95UM as well.
