Apolosign has launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for its PackGo portable monitor. The 27-inch touchscreen has a 1080p resolution and comes fitted inside a briefcase to make it easy to transport. Other features of the Android GMS-certified device include a built-in battery, integrated speakers and various ports allowing you to connect gadgets like a Nintendo Switch.

The Apolosign PackGo is now crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The 27-inch screen is attached to a briefcase, which acts as a stand and an easy way to transport the device. Apolosign suggests that the gadget could be helpful when working outdoors or on holiday. You can position the raised screen vertically or horizontally, with an adjustable angle, or remain flat in the case.

The PackGo’s LG Incell screen has a 1080p resolution and up to 450 cd/m² brightness. The GMS-certified gadget runs on a tailored version of Android 12, is integrated with Google Play integration and supports wireless screen mirroring via AirPlay, Miracast, DLNA and Chromecast. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6. You can interact with the display in various ways, including touch controls, voice commands, a remote or another connected device. Two integrated speakers with a 40W output produce a 3D audio experience, and ports on the device include HDMI IN, DP IN, USB-C and USB 3.0. Thanks to a 6,800 mAh battery, the display can run for up to six hours between charges; you can also use the power pack to recharge connected devices. The gadget measures 66.9 x 42.0 x 11.5 cm (~26.3 x 16.5 x 4.5-in) and, according to the project page, weighs 13.0 kg (~28.7 lbs), which is heavier than one might expect.

You can make a Super Early Bird pledge of HK$4,677 (~$599) to receive the Apolosign PackGo, 40% off the HK$7,799 (~$999) MSRP, assuming the project goes to plan. The Hong Kong-based company plans to ship its product in February, delivering to a select few countries: the US, the UK, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. At the time of writing, the campaign has raised almost $40,000, hitting its $9,999 target with 46 days remaining.
