Dough, formerly Eve Devices, touts its Spectrum One as a 27-inch 4K/144Hz monitor that can appeal to "content creators, designers, coders and gamers". Now, it might also appeal to those who might be a little more clumsy with their peripherals.
The monitor's latest variant has a Gorilla Glass covering rather than one that is simply matte or glossy as before. Dough does not specify which generation of Corning's cover glass now graces the screen, although the OEM does assert that it has an "anti-reflective DXC finish" that "delivers vibrant colors and deep black levels"
Accordingly, the Spectrum One with Gorilla Glass might be the toughest version of Dough's 144Hz monitor yet. Then again, it is only available to pre-order through B&H rather than direct from the OEM on its announcement today (December 13, 2023) for $799, and cannot be bought with a stand (which would cost an extra $99 anyway) at the time of writing.
Furthermore, an LG UltraGear 27GP950-B UHD/144Hz monitor is available for less than that today on Amazon.
