TFT Central has detailed the Tempest GZ2711, an upcoming Cooler Master gaming monitor. As far as we can tell, ITHome shared initial information about the gaming monitor in October, which was then picked up by the likes of DisplaySpecifications. At any rate, TFT Central has provided various key specifications, including that the Tempest GZ2711 will rely on an LG Display-derived WOLED panel.
As its name suggests, the Tempest GZ2711 measures 27-inches across. Additionally, the gaming monitor outputs at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms GtG response times. In other words, the Tempest GZ2711 is a more premium alternative to the Tempest GP2711 that Cooler Master revealed two months ago. Moreover, the panel will deliver 450 nits peak brightness when viewing SDR content and will cover 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour space.
Elsewhere, the Tempest GZ2711 will ship various ports, including a USB Type-C connection that offers 96 W Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt mode. While launch pricing remains unknown for now, TFT Central expects Cooler Master to introduce the Tempest GZ2711 in Q1 2024. Potentially, Cooler Master could use CES 2024 in early January to showcase the Tempest GZ2711. However, the company has not confirmed this yet, nor can we find any evidence of Cooler Master officially mentioning the gaming monitor yet.
