The AGON PRO AG256FS is finally almost here, having been showcased earlier this year. Not only has AOC now provided a specific release date, but it has also revealed launch pricing across the UK and the Eurozone.

The AGON PRO AG256FS is almost ready for release, having been announced earlier this year. Arriving as a larger alternative to the AGON PRO AG246FK, the AGON PRO AG256FS also utilises different panel technology but similar ports. Specifically, the latter features the following I/O:

  • 1x 3.5 mm jack
  • 1x DisplayPort 1.4
  • 2x HDMI
  • 4x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A

Moreover, AOC equips the AGON PRO AG256FS with a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel rather than the smaller TN panel inside the AGON PRO AG246FK. Please note that while the AGON PRO AG256FS matches its sibling with a 1080p (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, it delivers a 360 Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 390 Hz on demand. On top of that, it offers 0.3 ms MPRT and 1 ms GtG response times, plus 400 nits peak brightness but only 84% DCI-P3 colour space coverage.

Furthermore, the AGON PRO AG256FS ships with a height, pivot, swivel and tilt adjustable stand. Alternatively, AOC has included 100 x 100 mm VESA mounts for using a third-party stand. The AGON Pro AG256FS will be available from mid-August for £379.99 in the UK and €489 in the Eurozone. Please see the company's product listing for further details.
