Asus announced two new desktops packed with power at CES today. The ExpertCenter D700SER and D901MDR sport some nice features making deployment easy.
The D700SER is a small-form factor (SFF) desktop that measure 8.6 L, while the D901MDR is a mid-tower PC measuring 15.9 L. Both desktops run Intel 14th Gen CPUs from Intel's Raptor Lake Refresh S series of processors. (Asus did not specify the exact CPU models at press time.) The desktops also sport up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU for solid graphical horsepower. Powering everything is a 500 W TFX Platinum power supply.
The desktops meet US MIL-STD 810H standards, meaning they should survive even harsh work environments.
Both desktops come with modern features, like DDR5 RAM, Kensington lock slots, and optional TPM 2.0 security chips. They can also be shipped with Asus' Pre-Deployment Services and Endpoint Management Service, making deployment a snap. They also have tool-free designs, allowing easy access to their internals for maintenance and upgrades. The desktops will ship with Windows 11 (Asus did not specify whether this was Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro).
Pricing and availability was not known as of press time.
