The Alienware AW3225QF has arrived at CES 2024 following its introduction in October 2023 during TwitchCon 2023. For reference, the Alienware AW3225QF is joined in Las Vegas by the Alienware AW2725DF, as well as Dell's UltraSharp U3425WE and U4025QW professional monitors. While Dell does not acknowledge as much in its press materials, it appears that the Alienware AW3225QF relies upon a new Samsung Display QD-OLED panel, details of which the latter teased last month.
To recap, Dell confirmed at TwitchCon 2023 that the Alienware AW3225QF outputs at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and 240 Hz. Thus, the monitor is the 'world's first' to combine QD-OLED panel technology with a 4K resolution, which it complements with a 1700R curvature. Additionally, the panel delivers 0.03 ms GtG response times that 'virtually eliminates blurring and ghosting'. However, Dell has still included NVIDIA G-SYNC and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies to deliver stutter and tear-free visuals.
Moreover, the Alienware AW3225QF provides up to 1,000 nits peak brightness, which will be brighter than its three-zone AlienFX lighting. Also, the monitor has a pair of HDMI 2.1 FRL ports for 4K and 120 Hz gaming when connected to current-generation game consoles. The Alienware AW3225QF will be available in Canada and the US for CA$1,499.99 and $1,199.99, respectively, on January 11. Like the Alienware AW2725DF, the Alienware AW3225QF will not reach other markets until a month later on February 6.
