Both covered by a three-year OLED burn-in warranty, the recently unveiled 32-inch Alienware AW3225QF (curved) and 27-inch AW2725DF (flat) should arrive in January 2024 if everything goes as planned. According to their makers, they are the world's first 4K and 360 Hz QD-OLED gaming monitors.

Present in Las Vegas at TwitchCon 2023, Alienware unveiled two QD-OLED monitors that add new "world's first" badges to the portfolio of Dell's subsidiary. Founded in 1996, this iconic brand is well-known as the name that stands behind the first gaming laptop, the first laptop with dual graphics, as well as the first to introduce standard liquid cooling for all its desktop PCs.

Although they are not both curved, these two monitors share a three-year OLED burn-in warranty and are set to arrive in early January 2024. Remains to see if they will get an official launch before or during the CES 2024 trade show, which is scheduled to take place January 9 - 12.

The Alienware AW3225QF is the largest of the pair, with a 32-inch curved QD-OLED panel that sports a 4K resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate. According to Alienware, it is the world's first 4K QD-OLED monitor. Those who are in a hurry and would like to get a similar product from Alienware right now can grab the 34-inch AW3423DW, which entered the market last year as the world's first QD-OLED gaming monitor. However, they will have to get along with just 1440p and 175 Hz.

The smaller AW2725QF comes as the world's first 360 Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor but only provides a resolution of 2,560 X 1,440 pixels. This can be considered the successor of the AW2723DF, which is also a flat monitor with 1440p resolution and a high refresh rate of 280 Hz. Sadly, the AW2723DF only features an IPS panel. Last but not least, those who want to enjoy an extreme refresh rate of 360 Hz can already do it thanks to the AW2724HF, but the trade-off is a resolution of just 1,920 X 1,080 pixels.

The full lists of specs and features of these two upcoming next-gen gaming monitors by Alienware are not available yet. These details, as well as the pricing and availability information, should surface before CES 2024 kicks off. As usual, we will share them with you as soon as possible.
