Activision Blizzard has invited fans to participate in a blood donation campaign with an ambitious goal under the auspices of Diablo IV Blood Harvest. On a dedicated website, the company explains that the campaign aims to encourage people to donate 666 quarts of blood in total. For reference, 666 US quarts convert roughly to 630 litres.
Upon the completion of the campaign, participants will receive various cosmetic items, which include the following:
- Tier 1
- Dagger - Bloodpetal Anlace
- Axe - Bloodpetal Sever
- Necro Offhand - Bloodpetal Heart
- Sword - Bloodpetal Blade
- Druid Staff – Bloodpetal Bludgeon
- Tier 2
- The Loch Raeth Maor Barbarian armour set
- Tier 3
- Vermilion Eye Piebald mount
Please note that Diablo IV Blood Harvest is only open to those living in the US. Additionally, you must able to submit proof of a donation through Activision Blizzard's website, typically a confirmation email. With that being said, the campaign's FAQ confirms that all Diablo IV owners will receive the in-game rewards listed above 'once the tiered milestones are reached', regardless of whether they donate any blood.
Similarly, while Activision Blizzard has tied its sweepstake for a gaming PC 'infused with real blood' to the Diablo IV Blood Harvest target, anyone over 18 in the US can enter, even non-donors. Described as containing 'a signature Diablo red/black colour palette with custom Season of Blood graphics' rather real blood, the gaming PC also features an Intel Core i9-13900K processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and 3 TB of PCIe 5.0 storage. Currently, Activision Blizzard states that in-game rewards will go live on November 22 at 23:59 PT, with the campaign closing a day earlier.
