Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (campaign mode) is to be released on November 10, 2023, although early access for pre-order customers will start on November 2. Now, NVIDIA asserts that those planning to play on RTX 4000-powered systems will get the best out of the game with the latest Game Ready Driver.
That update is rated to confer the latest DLSS 3 features on Modern Warfare III, which include potentially improved image quality via DLAA, not to mention "AI-powered" frame rates. For example, NVIDIA asserts that the game will enable 100fps or more on the RTX 4070 card, or up to 200 fps on RTX 4090 graphics, yielding up to 1.8x more performance in 4K.
Similarly, DLSS 3.x is backed to increase performance by up to 1.6x in 1440p, hitting frame-rates of "100+" fps or 240 fps on the RTX 4070 or 4090 respectively, whereas playing Modern Warfare III in 1080p on the 4090 might bring rates up to the max (300 fps) for performance boosts of up to 1.5x.
Those potential advantages are projected to take hold on desktop, whereas RTX 4090 laptops might get up to 230 fps on Modern Warfare III, with performance generally improved by up to 1.6x in either 1080p or 1440p. Meanwhile, Reflex is touted to deliver other potential advantages such as "faster target acquisition, quicker reaction times, and the best aim precision" on one's first new CoD campaign.
