While no new G-Sync Compatible displays are not joining the ones already available, the new video driver from Nvidia comes with quite a few changes worth mentioning. Labeled 545.84 and unleashed yesterday, the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver brings DLSS 3 support to NARAKA: BLADEPOINT and is also ready to provide it to Warhammer: Vermintide 2, which will get the DLSS 3-ready update on October 19th.
In addition to the above, the new driver package comes with version 1.5 of RTX Video Super Resolution (VSR), a technology launched at CES 2023 that uses artificial intelligence to improve streaming video content by sharpening edges on upscaling and removing compression artifacts. According to Nvidia, version 1.5 "further improves the quality of RTX VSR" while also expanding hardware support of this technology to the older GeForce RTX 20 Series GPUs.
For those interested in generating images from text descriptions with the help of artificial intelligence, Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Driver 545.84 doubles Stable Diffusion Web UI performance thanks to the introduction of TensorRT acceleration.
Last but not least, it should be mentioned that no less than 14 games receive GeForce Experience optimal settings presets in this update. The list includes titles such as Mortal Kombat 1, Lies of P, Counter-Strike 2, The Crew Motorfest, and more.
The new software package is available via GeForce Experience or directly from Nvidia's website, as usual.
