Arriving less than a week after its predecessor, the Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Driver 535.98 software package brings day-1 support for DLSS 3 and Reflex in Diablo IV, as well as DLSS 2 optimizations for the Unreal Engine 4-based remake of System Shock. However, there are no other changes mentioned.

On May 24, Nvidia released the GeForce Game Ready Driver 532.03 package with support for the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU. That software package also provided support for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum and added no less than 7 Optimal Settings presets alongside a pair of G-Sync Compatible gaming monitors. Now, the software package 535.98, dated May 30, brings only optimizations for two titles, namely Diablo IV and System Shock.

Set to launch on June 6, Diablo IV will arrive with support for DLSS 3 Frame Generation (only on GeForce RTX 40 Series) alongside DLSS 2 Super Resolution. According to Nvidia, the GeForce RTX 4070 can run the game with everything maxed out at 4K with an average framerate of 113 FPS, while the GeForce RTX 4090 strikes home with an impressive 229 FPS. All GeForce RTX 40 Series mobile GPUs can run the game at over 80 fps with everything maxed out at 1440p resolution, and running it at 1080p allows these GPUs to start at 120 fps.

Ray tracing will arrive in Diablo IV at a later date, but Reflex is already supported. According to Nvidia, this technology reduces system latency in this title by up to 67%.

The iconic System Shock, released back in 1994, is now receiving a full remake that was built using Unreal Engine 4. The remake gets DLSS 2 support thanks to the new driver package, so players can experience more than double frame rates at 4K with every setting maxed out.

The new driver package is available via the GeForce Experience app or from Nvidia's website, as usual.
