Nvidia launches GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super-ready driver package
Exactly one week after the release of the GeForce RTX 4070 Super, which came alongside the year's first driver package, Nvidia launched the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super alongside the software refresh needed to fully support it. The new GeForce Game Ready Driver is labeled 551.23 and comes with much more than zero-day support for Nvidia's latest GPU.
While the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super is only available for desktops at this time, the aforementioned driver package comes with RTX Video HDR, a feature that is available for all GeForce RTX GPUs on both laptops and desktops. RTX Video HDR converts SDR video streams that run in web browsers in HDR video feeds. This is done automatically and the result can be enjoyed on any HDR10-compatible display.
In addition to the above, the GeForce Game Ready Driver package that carries the 551.23 version number also provides compatibility with DX 12 titles for Ultra Low Latency Mode. The following four games receive DLSS support: Enshrouded, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, TEKKEN 8 (launching tomorrow and already up for pre-order on Amazon for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles), and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The first two also get one-click optimal settings presets for GeForce Experience, the Windows-only app that is the easiest way to download and install the driver package. Those not using it can go to Nvidia's drivers page and retrieve the driver themselves.
