This week's new GeForce Game Ready Driver package is labeled 555.85 and comes with a rich set of changes, including optimizations for no less than four new titles (including F1 24, set to launch on May 28th), support for an additional 11 G-Sync Compatible displays, as well as optimal settings for four games.

After a few less consistent software updates, Nvidia is finally back with a driver update that touches all the essentials, namely support for upcoming titles, a few optimized settings presets, and also a generous set of new entries that join the long list of G-Sync Compatible displays.

Released earlier this week, the GeForce Game Ready Driver 555.85 software package has roughly 500 MB in size. However, when looking under the hood, one can discover that the PhysX System Software and HD Audio Driver components also got updates. What makes this worth mentioning is the fact that both were often ignored by new updates, which focused on the Graphics Driver component alone. Now, the PhysX System Software is up to 9.23.1019 (from 9.21.0713), while the HD Audio Driver moved from 1.3.40.14 to 1.4.0.1.

The games that get DLSS and Reflex support are F1 24, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Serum, and XDefiant. Four other titles received one-click optimal settings presets with the 555.85 package. These titles are: Bellwright, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, Homeworld 3, and Infection Free Zone. The 11 displays that have just joined the G-Sync Compatible list come from Asus, Philips, and IODATA (a pair from each), alongside the Dell AW2725QF and no less than four LG monitors.

The quickest way to download and install the GeForce Game Ready Driver 555.85 update is via GeForce Experience and the Nvidia app, which is still in beta. Also, the official Nvidia drivers page is still available.
