Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 appears directly on release in the Xbox Game Pass

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will be set in a 90s Gulf War setting. Fans already know this from the short teaser trailers that were published on a mysterious website with a retro television set. In addition to Bill Clinton and George Bush Senior, fans can see another familiar face in the teaser on Channel 5: Frank Woods, who fans last saw in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. His appearance in the trailer gives fans hope that he could also enrich Black Ops 6 with his black humor.

As the reliable leaker Tom Henderson reports on Insider Gaming, Black Ops 6 will feature both new and reworked maps and weapons from previous Treyarch games. Some perks, weapons and equipment have already been leaked on X (formerly Twitter).

COD Black Ops 6 is currently expected to be released between October and November 2024. As Insider Gaming reports, the game will not only be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but also for the last-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One. More information about the release could be revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9.

Although fans do not know exactly when Black Ops 6 will be released, it is already known that the game will be available in the Xbox Game Pass from the day of release. Microsoft officially announced this yesterday on Xbox.com. It was also confirmed there that a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct will also take place as part of the Xbox Showcase.
