The AGON GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK is AOC's latest 27-inch gaming monitor. Based around a Fast VA panel, the AGON GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK combines a 1080p resolution with a 280 Hz refresh rate and 300 nits peak brightness.

AOC has released the AGON GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK, a new gaming monitor based around a 27-inch 'Fast VA' panel. Please note that while the monitor has a flat panel, it also has a matte finish to reduce glare when gaming. Additionally, the AGON GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK boasts the following ports:

  • 1x 3.5 mm jack
  • 1x DisplayPort 1.4
  • 2x HDMI 2.0

Arguably one of the monitor's most important aspects is its refresh rate, which peaks at 280 Hz. Moreover, the AGON GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK operates natively at 1080p (1,920 x 1,080) with 1 ms GtG and 0.5 ms MPRT response times, plus Adaptive-Sync technology to mitigate image tearing. Furthermore, AOC states that the monitor delivers up to 300 nits peak brightness and covers 92.2% of the DCI-P3 colour space.

On top of that, the AGON GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK contains a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount should you wish to wall mount the monitor or use a third-party stand. Alternatively, its stand allows for various positions with pivot (0° to 90°±2°), swivel (-30°±2° ~ 30°±2°) and tilt (-4°±1° to 21.5°±1.5°) adjustments complemented by a height that can be altered by up to 130 mm. The AGON GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK retails for £189.99 in the UK and €239 in the Eurozone with a three-year warranty in both markets.
