Xiaomi releases new Redmi Display G24 gaming monitor with 180 Hz refresh rate
Over eighteen months have gone by since Xiaomi released the Redmi Gaming Monitor G24. Since then, the company has offered various newer examples, most recently with the Redmi G27Q 2025 and the Redmi Display G Pro 27. Now, it has decided to return to the Redmi Gaming Monitor G24, which it now sells as the Redmi Display G24.
On the face of it, little appears to have changed from the 165 Hz monitor it introduced in late 2022. For example, the new Redmi Display G24 still outputs at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels across a 23.8-inch IPS panel. Similarly, it offers 1 ms GtG response times and Adaptive-Sync technology to minimise image tearing. However, it now has a 180 Hz refresh rate for a slightly smoother image quality than its predecessor manages.
Moreover, the Redmi Display G24 is calibrated to sub 2 Delta E colour deviations with 120% sRGB colour space coverage and DC dimming support. On top of that, the monitor comes with one DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 port each; Xiaomi has not included a USB hub to speak of, though. Currently, Xiaomi offers the Redmi Display G24 for CNY 579 (~$80) in China, discounted from CNY 799 (~$108). Although the company's international plans for the monitor remain unknown for now, Xiaomi has offered some gaming monitors outside China in the past, such as the Curved Gaming Monitor G34WQi (curr. $299.99 on Amazon).
