The AGON GAMING 27G4XE is one of AOC's latest budget gaming monitors. Sold globally, the monitor has a 1080p panel with a 180 Hz refresh rate that also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC, among other features.

AOC has launched two gaming monitors under its G4 series this week, one being the 24G4XE and the other being the 27G4XE. As its name suggests, the 27G4XE is the larger of the two. For reference, the AGON GAMING 27G4XE is the third 27-inch G4 series monitor after the AGON GAMING 27G4X and the AGON GAMING Q27G4X.

In short, the AGON GAMING 27G4XE is the entry-level option of the three. Specifically, the AGON GAMING 27G4XE measures 27-inches across with a 1080p (1,920 x 1,080) native panel resolution. Moreover, the Fast IPS panel offers 1 ms GtG response times with NVIDIA G-SYNC and Adaptive Sync variable refresh rate (VRR) technologies.

Based on AOC's press release, the AGON GAMING 27G4XE shares pretty much all the same hardware as the similarly-named AGON GAMING 27G4X. However, the company has cut costs by including a less advanced stand. With that being said, the AGON GAMING 27G4XE also has a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount for using a third-party stand. The AGON GAMING 27G4XE comes in at £10/€10 cheaper than the AGON GAMING 27G4X, with list prices of £159.99 in the UK and €209 in the Eurozone. Please see AOC's website for more device details.
