Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000, which was previously only available in Asia, onto the global market. A new model, the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 NE, is now in the starting blocks and is also intended for an international audience.
The device has recently been listed on the manufacturer's global website. As is well known, this website does not yet reveal any prices or availability, but it does announce that a global launch is imminent and also provides all technical data for the new Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 NE.
Upon first glance, there do not appear to be too many differences to the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000, but there are a few nonetheless. Aside from the color - the new edition comes in white instead of black - Xiaomi appears to be offering the device with other equipment in bundles of one, two or three. Accordingly, the bundle with a router and up to two satellites is intended for large environments in order to ensure seamless WiFi. Here, Xiaomi promises up to 600 square meters of coverage.
Xiaomi points out another difference on its website: new network users can easily login into the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 via NFC. Once again, WiFi 6 is the standard, including backwards compatibility with previous generations. A transmission rate of up to 3,000 Mbit/s is possible via the two common frequencies at 2.4 and 5 GHz and with a bandwidth of 160 MHz. which is no different from the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000. Lastly, the mesh system offers four Gigabit LAN connections (including WAN) and can be configured via app.
